Nancy Kathleen Kennedy

Wellfleet- Nancy Kathleen Kennedy died April 13, 2012. Nancy was born in Wautona, WI. After high school she entered the military and was honorably discharged from the Air Force. She had a successful career as a hair stylist working in the mid west.

Nancy spent many happy years in Colorado but after towing her sailboat cross country from Boulder to Cape Cod, she decided to stay. She loved sailing the Provincetown harbor. Since Nancy was an avid fisherwoman she was often seen casting her hooks in her favorite fishing hole aboard her Boston Whaler, “Kendew”.

Nancy met her life partner, Annie DeW. in the early 80’s and together spent many wonderful years in Provincetown. Recently their time was shared between Boynton Beach, FL and Wellfleet.

Nancy loved her pets always providing a warm cozy home for many rescued kitties. Her latest family member is a standard poodle named Abby.

Nancy is survived by her life partner Annie DeWaniero. She also leaves behind her siblings: Kay Blanding, Carole Kennedy, Sandra Kennedy, Lynn and her husband Carl Limberger, Mary Jo and Joe Mazza, Dennis Kennedy and his partner Jim, Tom Kennedy and his wife Audrey, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
