Agnes Theresa Wilson

Agnes Theresa Wilson (nee: Martins), at the age of 78, passed away suddenly surrounded by family at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on October 27, 2025. She joins her husband Murray Wilson that she missed dearly, of 44 years, and her siblings Louie, Rica, Ermie, Jack and Stanley. She is survived by her sons Jerome (Stacey) and Adam (Alysha), grandchildren Erica and Anastasia, and sister Zena.

Born in Guyana, Agnes immigrated to Canada in 1975 with her mother Hermena and son Jerome. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and dedicated herself to her family and those she loved, including her dogs Max 1 and Max 2. She could often be found gardening at her Scarborough home, cooking for her family or shopping all the deals. She will be lovingly remembered for her witty humor and large presence she brought upon entering any room.

A visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E, West Hill, ON M8Z 2C4 on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E, West Hill, ON M8Z 2C4, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:30AM, Burial will take place at St. Margarets Cemetery 4130 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1E 2R8, immediately following the Funeral Service. Family invite guests to join them back at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre following the burial for Reception.
