Annabelle Rode

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Rodé at home surrounded by family. The dearly beloved wife of 65 years to Edwin (Robin) Rodé. Loving mother to Michael (Lousanne), Steven (Dina) and Lisa (Keith). The cherished grandmother to Michelle (Steve), Danielle (Dave), Gabrielle, Isabelle (Dave), Daniel, Aaron, Nathan, Rachel, Brendan, Aidan, Griffin and Hayley. The doting great grandmother to Tyler, Amelia, Maxwell and Ivy. There is no doubt that her greatest love was her family.

To Anne, life was to be celebrated and she lived every minute with vivacity. She loved her bridge afternoons, gardening, dancing, and outings to the theatre. Every holiday was an opportunity to see her family and bring people together. Christmas was her favourite time of the year as it combined the two loves of her life, her family and her faith. Anne was a valued and faithful member of the CWL for over 40 years.

Anne was a shining light in the community, her church and most of all in her family. She will be dearly missed and held in our memory and hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Giffen Mack Funeral Home 4115 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough

Tuesday March 22, 4-8pm. Funeral to be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 200 Morrish Rd Scarborough, Wednesday March 23, 11am.
