Beloved son of Francis and Elsie, Archie leaves behind his devoted wife of 56 years, Espeen, his loving daughter, Suzanne (Brian), and his cherished grandchildren, Liam and Eden. He was a dear brother to Percy (Loretta) and Ronnie (Alvy). He is also remembered by his brothers-in-law and their families, and his many friends.
Archie’s good humour and generous spirit touched everyone he met. His positive outlook and sunny disposition always made those around him smile. He reminded us every day that hope and humour can overcome any obstacle.
Now that Archie has passed into the arms of our Lord, we remind ourselves that while this is the end of Archie’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for him. We find solace in the hope of Christ’s resurrection and the assurance that we will one day be reunited in God’s eternal kingdom.
There will be a funeral service celebrated on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (4179 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough) at 11:00 a.m. where we will gather to honour his memory and rejoice in the promise of everlasting life. We invite everyone to a reception – located at the church – immediately after the service.
