Cheryl Algeria Harris

With sorrow filled hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Cheryl Algeria Harris. Daughter to the late David and Angelina. Predeceased by her stepfather Patrick, sisters Bernadette and Maureen, and first husband Lawrence. Cheryl is survived by her husband Michael, children Althea O Harris (De Courte) Kerensa D Harris (De Courte) Annelise Harris. Kenisha Harris, Annanza De Courte, Anthony De Courte, Alonzo De Courte, Leon Pesso (Chastity Pesso), Elizabeth Cameron. Grandchildren Elysa Faith Henry- Harris, Jordan M Harris- Gordon, Ade Bisi Balogun, Jaimarie Harris -Gordon, Sarah Ault, (of Guyana) Karnsa Glow Pesso (of Jamaica) Nahome Azaria Pesso (of Jamaica), and great-grandchildren Adrian Patterson- Harris, Anaya Harris Samuels. Sisters Vaulda Austin and Carmen Jerrick, brother Conrod Duncan (Sheeroon), uncles Alfred and Patrick and aunts Gloria and Joyce. Cheryl will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her close family and friends in Canada, Jamaica, Guyana, UK and USA.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., West Hill, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. & 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Giffen-Mack Chapel on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., guests are welcome to gather at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, Cheryl will be laid to rest at St. Margaret's in the Pines Cemetery, 4130 Lawrence Ave. E., West Hill.
