Elsa Maria Moreno

Elsa Maria Moreno (Neira), passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the age of 80, in Stouffville, Ontario. Elsa was born in Bogotá, Colombia to Susana and Abraham Neira on April 7th 1944. Elsa was predeceased by her dear husband Alberto Moreno in 2014. Together they raised two sons Javier Moreno (Pauline) and Mauricio Moreno (Kerri) and leave behind four grandchildren Marissa, Emily, Kylie and Devin. Elsa is survived by three younger siblings Margarita Neira, Abraham Neira (Sonia) and Marta Neira.

Elsa loved hosting parties, friends and family and always looked forward to the next opportunity to gather with loved ones. Elsa will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation for Elsa will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill, ON, M1E 2S2. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 11:00AM at Saint Thomas More Parish, 2234 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough, ON M1G 3M9.

Following the mass, guests are invited back to Giffen-Mack Funeral Home for a reception lunch with the family.
