Heidemarie Eva Nitz

Heidi Nitz was born in Elbing Germany in 1943 . She was a lively bright child with a rebellious streak that may have passed down to some of her children. By eighteen, she was living across the sea in Canada preparing for a baby. Without losing any of her liveliness, her optimism and her brightness, she also developed an extraordinary courage, born out of the incredible love she felt for her children . It is as "Mother" that many, perhaps most of us, will remember her. As a woman who was willing to grow up, struggling to find her way, she never passed negative feelings onto her children so they would not feel lost. She was a mother who gave her children a feeling of home, wherever they may have been.. Because of her love, her family grew and strengthened . All five of her children were closely bonded by her displays of affection and love. As her children grew adding spouses and grandchildren, she continued to demonstrate how her ability to love all was limitless.

Heidi Nitz was many things to many people. Above all, she was a person of rare love who made her family her priority. Heidi beloved wife of Peter, loving mother of 5 children and 11 grandchildren are never too far apart. In this difficult time our family support comforts us. We are able to lean on one another. We cherish and share all the good memories, including all the funny stories and photos, This is our inheritance and our legacy that she has passed on to all of us.
