Jahmari, I found out about a year later that you had passed, but I really thought that you would have lived on forever. I never saw you in a negative light and always admired/loved your ability as an artist to be so honest with script work whenever we performed together. No, it wasn’t just an acting class, you were somebody who saw how much I loved performing as much as you did, and one of the only people who ever saw me for who I really was and how much we loved it.

I would think about you from time to time but now I know that you have crossed over. 

I really thought you would live forever. 
I mean, in my hearts and in others’, you will always have a place there.

A deeply respected artist, a friend, a classmate, you are such a wonderful person. Although I really love my privacy which you respected, I am lucky to have met you and performed with you.

Although I still can’t believe you’re on the other side, I’m still wishing you love and rest.

Btw, happy belated birthday. You are so loved.

Hey man! I guess it’s been a year. Time flies, we had drinks after acting class yesterday and cheered in your name. We all miss you very much.

Jahmari Jones. This boy was a true light to everyone that knew him. I worked with Jahmari for a year at Massey Hall and the second I saw his smile, I couldn’t look away. His momma did a wonderful job of raising and loving him. That’s just something one should know after having a conversation with Jahmari, even if it’s just a few sentences. I am absolutely heartbroken to know that I will never get to see him smile, hear his laugh, or even just be in his incredible presence for one last time. That being said, I know his spirit is so beautiful and will always be with his loved ones no matter what. He is someone that even if you only met once, he is someone you will never forget. His big personality, his smile, his love, and his kindness is incomparable. I miss you Jahmari, that won’t ever change. I give all my love to his mom Georgia, and two older sisters Jahnelle, and Jiniya. Jahmari Jones, such a star. Thank you for being apart of my life even if it was just a short while, I will cherish that forever. May he rest in peace. ❤️❤️

I would like express my heartfelt condolences to the family on the passing of their beloved family member Jahmari whom I never had the privilege of knowing.  I would like to offer this poem to convey my sentiments of a loved one gone too soon.

I am so SORRY, I was unable to watch you GROW.
     I am so SORRY, I did not get to KNOW you.
       I am so SORRY, I did not get to SHOW you ...
         I am so SORRY, I did not get to comfort and console you.
            I am so SORRY, I was never able to get to KNOW your story.
               I am so SORRY, I never got to watch you flourish,
AND the relationships you nourished. 
         But I know through the stories shared that you did SHINE through the hearts of the ones that you left behind.

We met Jahmari through our son Gavin, he immediately made a lasting impression on us. His kind, sweet and caring demeanour was readily apparent. There are no words that can adequately express our sincere condolences on his loss. The world has lost an amazing person and will never be the same. Hyping Audrey up before her scene on the set of the Rocket Mortgage commercial.

Jahmari was an instant friend to my daughter, Audrey on the set of the rocket mortgage commercial. He was so excited and  passionate about his acting and was so supportive and encouraging to the other people on set. On the second day he was wrapped by noon but stayed the whole day to support Audrey during her scenes. His support continued over social media and he even video called her to congratulate her on another booking earlier this summer. He was such a phenomenal kid and our entire families hearts are broken by the news of his passing. Audrey will always remember him and hold his memory close to her heart. I always looked forward to working with Jahmari. As soon as I saw his name stationed next to mine I knew I was in for a night of laughs and great conversation. His energy was incredibly infectious as was his kindness. For someone so young, he spoke with intelligence beyond his years and made you feel like whichever topic you were discussing was of the highest importance. I will miss all the laughs, our chats about food and music, and his bright smile. Rest in peace, Jahmari. Thank you for the opportunity to know you, even for a short time.

I know Jahmari from high school and we never really spoke but he was an extremely talented kid. I’ve always admired his talents and positive energy. I’m really sorry for your loss.

Jahmari and I took acting class together a few times. He told me that he believed that everyone in our class would make it. I believed that he would make it first. His positivity, ability to befriend anyone, dedication to his craft and kindness was something that I admired. Even though we didn’t know each other well he still had an impact on me. I’m going to miss him.

I used to go to school with Jahmari many years ago back in the Eastview days, I moved from Toronto almost 10 years ago. When I heard the news his face instantly popped up in my head. He was a great kid back then and  always wanted to play ball. I Wish I could have stayed connected to see him grow into the man he is. My deepest condolences to the family and friends and everyone impacted by his loss. Save me a seat with the man upstairs.

Jamari you were a light that shined so bright. Even though we had only met in high school you made such an impact in my life. You were one of the happiest students with such a smile. Thanks for all those hugs when I needed it. Many blessings to your family and much love to you. Please God give this family strength through these times.

Jahmari lit up every room that he walked in. He would always make everyone in the room smile. I am truly blessed to have known him and see his passion for film and life. My deepest condolences to the family. He will be missed everyday.

When I think of Jahmari I think of the time in highschool when we were complete strangers, but he had overheard that I needed a tylenol, so he went and found me one.. thats the kind of person he was. We weren’t ever the closest of friends, but I felt like sharing that memory to say that thats how I’ll remember him; for his kindness. Jahmari and I were hired together and trained together. I’ll never forget how kind and friendly he was, he just absolutely lit up the room whenever he entered. I would like to send my deepest condolences to those who knew and loved Jahmari. I am absolutely devastated to hear the news about his passing. He was such a radiant person, and I always looked forward to seeing him in the workplace. I will keep him in my memory as someone who was incredibly kind, humorous, and simply a great friend.

Jahmari was a student of mine over the past two years. His enthusiasm and passion was unmatched. He had the most infectious smile I’ve ever seen.
