Janie Lynn Balant, mother to Joseph, Charlotte, Thomas, and Alexander, passed away on August 21, 2025.
Known for her generosity, baking, and creative crafting, Janie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Janie’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her children, siblings, and her beloved granddogs.
A celebration of life will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on November 7th from 2pm-6pm. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
