She was very new in her class - I think she joined Visakha in year 10 - she used to compose songs and sing in the classroom and if I remember correct she was in the debating team too.  When I met her as your wife and as a much loved doctor so many years later I didn't connect  that this is the  special and talented girl that I used to know in school.  It took me a while to realise the link and I do not  think I ever got to tell you this before we moved in the opposite directions of the globe. Let us celebrate Jayantha's  life with fond memories of her going back to school days. she was a very special person
