BYRNE, John Patrick “Séan” Peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Scarborough General Hospital in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (née Meagher). Loving father of Thomas (Linda), Maggie, and Anne (Kevin McNiff). Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Adored great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Peter. Séan will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Family and friends may gather at the GIFFEN-MACK “SCARBOROUGH” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill (one block west of Kingston Road), 416-281-6800, on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin de Porres Church (4179 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill, ON) Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10am. Séan will be laid to rest at St. Margaret’s In-the-Pines Cemetery.
