Linda Elizabeth Hodgins

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden, but peaceful passing of our sister, aunt, and cousin Linda Elizabeth Hodgins (nee Blair) at the age of 67 on December 21, 2023. Born in Glasgow, Scotland she immigrated to Canada with her parents and older sister in 1961. The family lived in Scarborough, she met her husband Kevin and continued to live in Scarborough in the Rouge Valley area for another 44 years. Predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Kevin Daniel Hodgins (August 2021). Survived by her siblings Sandra Smith (Harold), Donna Stockbridge (late David Stockbridge), and sister-in-law Sandy Hodgins (late Dean Hodgins). Linda was a very loving Aunt to Brenda, Heather, David, Amanda, Brian, Madeline, and Scott, and Great Aunt to Isabelle, Benjamin, Cassandra, Samantha, and Alexander.

Linda was a friendly, gentle, and loving person. Family and friends would always be welcomed by a big hug, smile, and giggle. She loved her pets and had many cats and dogs through her married life. She is survived by her cat…Buddy.

Linda was a very private person. She will be greatly missed for her quiet caring nature, her hearty laugh, and her sense of humour.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life for Linda will be held on January 4th, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Black Dog Pub located at 87 Island Road, West Rouge, ON.
