Born on October 28, 1939, in East York, Ontario, Lorraine lived a life rich with experience and adventure. Over the years, she called many places home, including Penetanguishene, Scarborough, Pickering, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand. No matter where life took her, she carried with her the same warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of Larry with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership and love. Together they raised their son, Randy, who was the pride of her life. She was a cherished and devoted grandmother to Lauren and Troy, who were blessed to experience her extraordinary warmth and affection.
To know Lorraine was to feel loved. She had a rare and beautiful gift — the ability to make everyone around her feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Her kindness was effortless, her heart immeasurable. Whether through a gentle word, a comforting presence, or the quiet ways she showed up for those she loved, Lorraine created a sense of home wherever she was.
Family was the centre of her world. Her love was steady, constant, and unconditional — the kind of love that leaves a lasting imprint. She will be remembered not only for her devotion to her family, but for the warmth she carried and the grace with which she lived her life.
Lorraine leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Lawrence Pugh. Son Randy (Kimberly), grandchildren Lauren & Troy. Her brother Glenn (May). Pre-deceased by brothers Doug (Josephine), Ken (Rita), and her parents William & Gladys Headley and many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to gather to honour and celebrate Lorraine’s life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lakeridge Health in her memory.
Her legacy is one of love — the kind that continues long after goodbye. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
