So shocked of departure of Muriel Ellen Pedder. My condolences to everyone in the family. She was amazing neighbour. She told me that she will be passing 100 years. She was very energetic and always smile on her face. Miss you.

Hi Mum, sorry I forgot to mention in my speach, your many great cross stitch pictures you did. We all have some in our houses now and will enjoy having the ones decorating your walls at your home.Also I did not mention the genealogy hobby I decided to start years ago.  We had years of fun researching, and doing the Thompson and Pedder side.  The hours and hours we sat be side 
each other with you telling tales and then we would compose and I would type I info and stories in the family tree.  Thank you so much 
for that as the 2 sides had really branched out because of you.

Dear Aunty Muriel,  thank you so much for helping us settle in Canada 40+ years ago.  You welcomed us into your home with open arms and that big infectious smile.  Your all encompassing hugs really let me know I was loved and brought great comfort to me this past year.  My two girls, Kayla and Sarah, enjoyed meeting you and hearing your stories.  Geoff would always joke around, and you really had some good one liners in return.  Dad (Vic), is very sad to see you go, and will miss you very much, but he is grateful you are now back with your Fred.  In memory of my mum, she also wishes you much peace. Mum, you have been in my life for a very long time so where does one begin.  I will miss your smile when I walk in the door, the hugs that squeeze the stuffing out of you.  Cups of tea, long chats, teaching you what your credit card is for, just watching TV, doing puzzles, drives to see the fall colours.  Sunday suppers, lots of gossip, Christmas sleepovers and stories from the past.  I was so very fortunate to have become a member of this family and to have had you for my Mother-In-Law. I was so fortunate to have known both Fred and Muriel, and to have called Muriel ''Mum''. She was a gift to me in my teenage life. She was very loved by all who knew her. She became a great friend to my mother as well . We will all miss you 'Mum'. Rest in peace, join Fred and say hi to my mom and dad. Love you.

God took back one of his angels this week.
Her job here on earth was finished and it was time for her to join her late husband Fred. She was a wonderful wife, mother of two find boys and took over as being a father figure too because their father was taken away from them far too soon.  She was a mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.
Muriel will be missed and grieved over by all who knew her.  
Glenn, myself and my boys had the honor of knowing one of the finest and caring persons' we will ever meet.
May you rest in peace and give my special angel a hug and kiss for me when you meet.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of our dear neighbor, Muriel. She was always smiling & cheerful. It was a pleasure to have known her and grown up living beside her. I think of her often. My condolences to Paul, Bob and families. Your Mother will always have a special place in my heart.
