Nellie died peacefully in her sleep at her home at Hardy Terrace in Brantford, after two good visits with her sons Paul (Donna) and Russ (Louise). Her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyla, Michael and Jenna will miss her.
Predeceased by her daughter Monique and her husband Theo and also her brothers and sisters Leo, Jan, Harry, Cor, Peter, Reit and Lennie, she is survived by her brother Wim and sister Annie.
All who had the honour to meet her, will fondly remember her smiling face and pleasant demeanor.
As per Nellie’s wishes, friends and family will be received between 10:30 and 11:00 at St.Martin de Porres Church, 4179 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, ON on Wednesday December 20th. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations may me made in Nellie’s name to Rosalie Hall (rosaliehall.com) or Breast Cancer Canada (breastcancerprogress.ca).
