Wort, Randy Charles died at St. Joseph Health Centre on Sunday September 24, as a complication of illness. Loved father of Rebecca and Jessica. Son of the late Beverly Madeline (Harvey) Wort (2002) and Austin Charles Wort (2003). Brother of Wendy Schmied (Henry), Gary Wort (Lisa), Lesly Mason (Brad), Shelley Chambers (Clint MacKenzie), and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Randy went to Lakeport High School in St. Catharines and eventually moved to the Toronto area. He was an avid curler and an active member of the Avonlea Curling Club. He was also a coach and mentor for high school athletes and new and novice curlers. Friends and family will be received by the family from 3-6 p.m., on Wednesday October 4th, followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. This will take place at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 4115 Lawrence Ave. East, West Hill, ON M1E 2S2. If desired, donations may be made to CAMH or the Diabetes Society of Ontario.
