Waldemar (Waldy) Krause, of Scarborough, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the age of 83. Waldy was born August 1, 1938 in Ukraine. Waldy was the loving husband to the late Marilynne (Thompson). He was loving father to Suzanne (Peter) Tays and David (Janine) Krause. He will be missed by his grandchildren Lucas, Leah, Ryan and Jason. Waldy is the son of the late Michael and Alwine (Baumgard) Krause, the brother of the the late Michael and wife Ilsa, Reinhold and Karola, Alex and wife Marion, Eduard and wife Gisela, and Helen Rowe. Waldy is survived by his sister Martha Schroeder. Waldy will also be missed by his nieces and nephews here in Canada and Germany. Waldy was a millwright for Adams/Warner Lambert until he retired in 2003.
Services have been entrusted to Griffey-Mack Funeral Home, and will remain private at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
