Yoko Sambora, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 24, 2018 at the age of 89. Born on September 27, 1929 in Steveston, B.C. to Mr. & Mrs. Nakanish. She rejoins her parents and her husband of over 65 years, Robert.
Yoko will be clearly missed by her daughter Sandra (Stew), and by her siblings Ken Nakanishi, Joe Nakanishi (Nancy), Mitzi Yoshida (Ben), Suzy Nakanishi, Noby Nakanishi (Sakae) and Aiko Taba (George).
A visitation for Yoko will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON M1E2S2.
