Ashe Jimenez Rodrigues, 30, of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2026, following a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and her two cherished cats.
Born in the Philippines to David and Eleonor Rodrigues, Ashe’s life was a testament to creativity, compassion, and purpose. She attended G-Star School of the Arts in West Palm Beach. She graduated summa cum laude from New College of Florida in Sarasota, an honors institution, earning dual degrees in Art and Art History. After graduation, she completed artist residencies in Italy and Macedonia, further cultivating her artistic expression and global perspective.
Ashe’s artistic journey led her to exhibit her work in numerous galleries, where her talent and originality earned her admiration and respect. Combining artistry with innovation, she later pioneered the development of the first biodegradable face mask—a reflection of her enduring commitment to sustainability, design, and human health.
An avid reader, writer, and illustrator, Ashe drew endless inspiration from her travels and storytelling. Her travels took her across the globe to some of the world’s most remote and awe-inspiring places, including a profound stay in the Amazon rainforest with a tribe residing high in the forest canopy.
Guided by empathy and conviction, Ashe was also a passionate humanitarian and advocate. She championed animal welfare, women’s and children’s rights, and the well-being of underserved communities. Among her many contributions, she helped design and implement an irrigation system that provided clean water to a rural village in Western Europe.
Ashe was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lucy and Vincent Rodrigues, and her maternal grandfather, Rafael Jimenez.
She is survived by her parents, David and Eleonor Rodrigues; her maternal grandmother, Esperanza Jordan; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Ashe’s legacy will live on through the art she created, the lives she changed, and the love she shared so freely with the world.
