Donald was born on May 25, 1938 in Yonkers New York to parents Hayward and Sophia Murray. Donald attended St. Ann’s School in West Palm Beach from Kindergarten through the 12th grade, graduating in 1956. In 1960 he graduated from the University of Florida and then served his country in the United States Marine Corp. After retiring from the General Motors Acceptance Corporation he established the Peter Pan Preschool in Palm Beach Gardens. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Larock Murray, children; Scott C. Murray(Jamie), Kimberly Murray Hill(William), grandchildren; Sutton and Chandler Hill, Alexandra, Ava, Gavin and Grayson Murray, brother; Raymond Murray.
Friends may visit the family at the Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, Florida 33417 on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM.
