

Frances, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, was born in Newton, Massachusetts on May 23, 1926 to Adam and Catherine Dowick. She enjoyed a wonderful childhood and excelled at tennis, which was her passion throughout her teen years. Frances married her beloved Edward Joseph Foley, Jr. on November 11, 1944 and enjoyed 62 years of married life until his passing in 2006. Frances enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking and was famous for her “Lettuce Patch” Brownies and other confections. She was also a very accomplished painter and her many paintings adorn the homes of her children and grandchildren.
Frances will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donna Winterson (Stewart),
Cathleen Smith (Kenneth), Mark Foley, Edward J. Foley III and Elizabeth Kerr (Robert). Her grandchildren, Laura Smith Carlson (Jeffrey), Adam Smith, Max Kerr, Adam Kerr, Ellen Kerr and Cynthia Foley Cuchna. Her great grandchildren, Riley and Brennan Hamilton. Her beloved sister, Irene Rumbo and her niece Cynthia Holt.
A viewing will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, from 5:00 -7:00 pm at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 425 North “M” Street, Lake Worth, FL with burial to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach.
