Jim Eddins, age 77, of West Palm Beach, passed away quietly at home Nov 1st 2014. Jim served in the US Air Force and Army Reserves and retired from AT&T. Jim volunteered as a baseball couch, umpire and was the past president of the City of WPB Crime Prevention. Jim and Bunny were married for 55 years and his greatest pleasure was being with his family who knew him as Papa Jim.
Jim is the very beloved husband of Bunny and father of Cindy Hackle of N. Palm Beach, Bill Eddins (Kathy) of Delaware and Jamey Eddins (Shelly) of Michigan. Jim will also be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his brother Bill Eddins (Susan), sister-in-law Barbara Glowth, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL with a Funeral Service to be held at 7:00 PM. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 Am on Thursday, November 6, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach.
