I am extremely saddened to hear the news of Joe’s passing which I just learned yesterday. I grew up with Joe back in Lake Clark Shores, in fact, I used to cover for him for his paper deliveries  out back in the early 80’s.. He would let me use his moped to deliver the newspapers and then I got my own route.  He has taught me so much about courage and not to give up. I am sad that we didn’t keep in touch as often as we should have. But I will never forget about Joe. My sincere condolences to the family.

I am deeply sorrowed to hear of Joes passing. We met in our junior year at Forest Hill High and he was a good friend. Joe was an excellent mechanic and was always there to help me with keeping my 13 year old Beach Wagon on the road. We had some great times at the beach or camping. Rest in Peace my friend, you will always be in my thoughts in prayers
