Mr. Brady said, “For the last twenty years, I have been an incredibly lucky man to have had the opportunity to spend my life with Renee. I am heartbroken by her death. Since 1997, every single day, we shared our lives thoroughly and met every challenge as a team.”
“Renee is a person of incredible honor, integrity, empathy and compassion. She had an indomitable spirit and a very big heart. In both her professional and personal lives, she lifted people up.”
She was a step-mother to Michael Brady and encouraged him to attend the Culinary Institute of America and to pursue a career in the culinary arts-restaurant industry.
Her parents, Julius and Mila Herzog, were Holocaust survivors and pre-deceased her as did her in-laws, Bill and Betty Brady, who she loved dearly.
She leaves a sister, Judy Chmielarz, and a nephew, Milan, of Davie, FL.
A unique and unforgettable personality, she was an acclaimed astrologer with an impressive media career. She hosted radio programs in the New York, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach markets and appeared on hundreds of radio programs across the country. Her WRMF-FM program, “Hey Renee Radio Thursdays” was widely listened to. Renee was also a contributor to Skip Kelly’s morning show on WOLL-FM and “Mo & Sally’s” shows on WMBX-FM and WRMF-FM. Her work would also take her to London and the U.K. where she was seen on the nationwide Channel 4 Network and heard on BBC Radio.
In recent years, she had been a consultant to Outlook Amusements and Ask Now, entertainment companies specializing in advice based products.
Renee was also a certified RoHun therapist, a rapid form of therapy and emotional healing. She was educated at Miami-Dade College, The College of Staten Island and Ohio State University.
