Barb, Karen and Arlene I'm sorry for your loss. Remembering the fun times we had at your house. I can still picture her sitting on the front porch enjoying all the activity and people around her.
You are in my thoughts and prayers...

I remember Aunt Evie as always ready for a laugh. She was always willing to get a rise out of someone and it usually was my Mom. My mother didn’t drive so Aunt Evie would pick up Mom ,Jimmie and I for a summer day to swim, picnic and hangout. This particular day she had a blue mustang convertible and the top was down. Mom was in the front and we were coming up to the train tracks. Of course there was a train moving slowly on the tracks headed our way. My mother loved trains but didn’t like to be too close and Aunt Evie knew it. So she crept slowly up to and on the tracks ,straddling them . Mom started to scream for her to get off , reciting every bible verse she could think of. She turned the car off telling her it stalled. The train was moving very slowly and sounded the whistle a few times, it was still a ways off. My mother started calling her sister by her full name to get off these tracks before we all got run over. I knew she meant business. She started the car and we were off the tracks . We all laughed afterwards ,even Mom reluctantly. To my cousins and all their family members ,our deepest sympathies. Your Mom will be missed by all. I will never forget her sense of humor and her love of her family.

I have special memories of family reunions when all us Schultz clan kids were young. I remember going to Aunt Evy's house on Christmas day after we opened our gifts getting dressed and heading out to West Seneca and Orchard Park to visit. She was "the baby" of the family of 10 siblings. I remember her laughter. I also remember being at Aunt Evy and Uncle Jim's when Karen, Arlene, Jackie and I were listening to Chubby Checker and dancing the twist on the Sunday when The Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and watching it with Aunt Evy, Uncle Jim, my dad, Clarence and my mom, Marion.
To my cousins Karen, Arlene and Barbara - I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful and special lady.
