Beloved husband of Joan (Valtin); loving father of Eric (Marie) Windover, Scott (Chelsie) Windover, and late Jacqueline Windover; cherished grandfather of Sarah, Jonathan, and Elyse; dearest son of Betty and late Murney Windover; cherished brother of Jill (Mark) Trulin; adored son-in-law of Dorothy and late William Valtin; survived by nieces and nephews. John proudly served in the Navy and enjoyed coaching youth sports.
