Russell G. Knox of West Seneca, NY entered into rest March 7, 2026; Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Vastola); devoted father of Carol Ann Green, Patricia(David)Cammarano and James Knox; cherished grandfather of Jennifer Potter and Robert Green; step grandfather of Elyse(Alex)Chavez and Nathan Cammarano; loving son of the late Russell and Anna Knox; dear brother of the late Joanne(late Donald)Fix, Richard(Sheila)Knox, Dale Knox and Linda(late Daniel)Bandish; also survived by many fond nieces and nephews. Russ spent 32 years with the Buffalo Fire Department holding the title of lieutenant, was a long-standing member of Masonic Lodge 694 and the Ismailia Shriners. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Hoy Funeral Home, 3855 Seneca St. West Seneca,NY on Tuesday March 17th from 4 - 8PM where a funeral service will be held Wednesday March 18th at 10AM.
