Allen is preceded in death by his wife, Jody Lynn Peterson; his parents, Rodney and Marie Peterson; and his brother, Lynn Peterson. He is survived by his son, Robert Peterson (Jennifer), his grandsons, Taylor (Alexis) and Justin (Jaden); his great-granddaughter, Oakley, and his sister Kathy Cary (Steve).
Allen worked for many years and retired from Ovivo, formerly Eimco Process Equipment in 2012, he worked as a Buyer/Planner. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors through camping and hunting, watching NASCAR, or simply relaxing at home, having some beers, sharing laughs and time with his many neighbors and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
