Art was born in Delaware, Oklahoma in 1924. He was the son of Edna Coatney and Charles Lewis Wauhob.
Art had seven brothers, and four sisters, all who preceded him in death. Art is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ada Spencer Wauhob. Art had two children, Julia (Bill) Carl, Sara Ruiz, Nelso (Nancy) Villamizar. Art had a special son-in-law, Sergio. He was his fishing buddy, gambling friend, and music companion. Art had eight grandchildren, Zachariah, Heather, Rebecca, Ramon, Sergio, Gabriela, Jacob, and Emily. He also had a great-grandson, Logan, and Trenton is due in October. Art was a veteran of WWII. Art worked for Union Pacific for 36 years, where he started in Salina, Kansas and retired in Salt Lake. Art's adventures included traveling the U.S. and Mexico, fishing and camping at Vernon Reservoir, gambling at the Rainbow Casino, and Breakfast at Jim's Family Restaurant.
The services for Art will be Saturday, July 16th, at 1:00 p.m. Valley View Funeral Home 4335 w. 4100 s. West Valley.
