

She graduated from Granger High School and soon after began her career in administrative work at Pitney Bowes before moving on to Discover Card.
She lived most of her life in Salt Lake City, but enjoyed 7 years in Denver Colorado. She lived life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. She was a positive, fun, beautiful, bright soul who everyone enjoyed being around.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, watching old movies, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with numerous fur babies through the years. She also enjoyed family get togethers, visiting with cherished lifelong friends, and doing extensive research on her family history.
Cathy is survived by her son, Marty Hudson, her grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Cash, Keegan, and River. She is also survived by her brothers, Lynn and Stephen (Michelle), as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Alma Andersen, her brother, Larry Andersen and her former husband, Don Hudson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the friends and family who gathered around Cathy in her final days and offered help and support following her passing.
Cathy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A celebration of Cathy's life will be held on Friday May 19th from 7pm to 9pm at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 4335 W 4100 S in West Valley City, UT. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday May 20th, 2023 at 2pm at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 4335 W 4100 S in West Valley City, UT.
