To Chad's Family, I just heard about your loss this past weekend. Just wanted to send my condolences. I played football with Chad at Kearns High.  I remember him as a bright, happy, hard working guy with a lot of heart. He's truly missed. And I'm so sorry for your tragic loss.

Chad, as I sit hear listening to some freshly downloaded, old school Blink 182, it takes me back to some of the better times bro.  I can't begin to express how much I'm gonna miss you.  I could always count on you to be the first to welcome me home when I had been gone for so long.  Growing up as cousins living so close together, spending late nights playing kick the can, sleeping out on the trampoline, trading baseball cards, weekends at Magic Waters!  All of those good times carried on as we grew older and we became more like brothers rather than cousins.  Days/nights at the apartment with you, Ryan, Nick, Mike, Mo and a slew of others that made their way through.  Late nights drinking beers, garage shows at the Palmer house.  All the above mentioned have provided me with enough memories to last a lifetime, and I will carry them with me religiously.  For Jade, I know she already misses her "uncle" Chad, after all, who else could entertain some her questions the way you could!  The late night trip to Harmons after being released from the hospital, all so you could get her some toys.  I mean c'mon man, what kind of toys can you get at Harmons?  You were bound and determined though to not show up empty handed!  Thank you for the way you were with Jade, it won't be forgotten.  You are no longer with us in body, but you will remain in spirit until we meet again!  Save me a seat, look after us all, and I'll be seeing you when I do.  To "Dodo", Rick, Tyler and Bob; hang in there and you all know that Nancy and me are there for anything, if you ever need us we're a phone call and a short plane ride away!  I love you all and I'm proud to call you all family!  Take care and we will see you soon.

I don't even know where to begin other than saying thank you to Rick and Jodee for having such an amazing son.  I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be a friend of Chad's for many years.  From High School to just the other day when he was holding my 3 month old son.  I will never forget his wonderful smile, laugh, sense of humor, and his love for so many.  Chad never let anything take him down, even when he was in the hospital under horrific pain he always seemed to make you laugh.  And not to mention, he always recieved plenty of attention from the female nurses. (You sly guy) I am proud to say that I love Chad and appreciate all the things he has done for me and my family.  I will truely miss the times he would come over and chill with us.  My duaghter especially, they were buds the second he would walk in the door.  What a love for children he had.  And who couldn't love him, look at him, always smiling through the thick and thin.  
To Ryan, Rick, and Jodee, You know that the McQuiston's are here for you always.  We can't imagine how difficult this is, so please don't hesitate to call or come over.  
Chad we will deeply miss you even though you are in God's hands.  Thank you once and again for blessing me with you as a friend.  I love you and thank you for ALL the amazing memories.  Carpe Diem to the end.

I had the opportunity to visit with Chad in Nov. while he was in the hospital, my boyfriend was in there too. He was so caring and giving the whole time even went and visited my boyfriend because he wasn't able to get out of bed at that time. I am truely sorry for the loss of your amazing son.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a fine young man. I coached Chad in Little League baseball and he was the inspiration for the whole team. He was the one who picked up and encouraged those who were down and feeling poorly about themselves. He always showed me respect and was a team leader in every way. I was inspired by his never give up attitude.

Chad, when I heard about your passing my mind flooded with memories from our recent past. Some being fun and full of laughter and some-- being full of tears... I thought about watching movies in your garage on summer nights, singing as off key as I could at your birthday party with your family, UFC fights and Jeremy- at 5 Monkeys. I will never forget the day your life changed forever, I remember exactly what you whispered in my ear before your first surgery... being with Jodee, Bob, Rick and Ryan waiting for the doctors to tell us the news. We all prayed together for you, and you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers... until me meet again.  You were so tough and you fought through the infection for as long as your body would allow... You and your family will always be in my heart, memories are all we have now and I will cherish the ones I have of us. My heart goes out to you Jodee, Bob, Rick, Ty and Ryan. Chad was a great man, and where ever he may be now watching over us-- he will continue to be great. I love you and miss you Chad.

God bless and may his family know that they will see him again, Like you I lost a child, she was only 19 years old. she died of a grand mal sezure.  It about killed me at the time and my heart was shattered in so many pieces I did not think it could ever be put back together. But I had a family who did not want me to slowly kill myself. So here I am five year next month making it. So when you get down and want to not leave the house, You will have to and it somehow becomes easy to go out. But PLEASE don't let anyone tell you how long to grive, because it is different for deffernt people. I know I am a counseler and a parent of a child who left to soon and to top it off my baby was going to have a baby girl, so I lost both of them. Anyway take care of each other and lean on each other, that will help you alor. and talk about her, I know when Amanda left people woud not let me talk about her, they said "its morbed to talk about her, jut let it go. This is bull talking about them helps it really does. 
My prayers are with you and knoe that he is going to be waiting when it is your turn, but not for a long time.  God bless...

I worked with Chad at Wal Mart in Loss Prevention for a little while, and talking with him he loved his Family very much, I want everybody to know what an Awesome young man Chad was, I ran into him at Intermountain Medical Center during the Summer last year while he was there, and he explained to Me what he had been going through with MRSA, he kept on smiling and said that he was good even though this disease was ravaging his body, I want to say Thank You to him for giving Me the opportunity to know and work with Him.

Chad I will always remember you...I still have the picture of you and Shane in your room full of confettie in your decked out 49ers room. I will never forget cutting up the fish you gave me in Sabrinas driveway! Rick and Jody I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I remember how crazy you were about him! You are such loving parents, may peace be in your hearts!

Rick and Jodee, I am so saddened to hear of Chad's passing. I remember him when he was so little coming into Ream's with you guys to pick out videos. It was such a pleasure to see you guys and watch your kids as they were growing up. I know that this is such a difficult time for your family, but remember all those good memories of him and treasure in them. Know that he is free from pain and Heavenly Father is by his side now as they walk together in happiness. Please know that our hearts go out to you and if you need anything at all please let us know. There are no words to make this an easy experience for anyone who knew Chad. Even though its been some time since I saw Chad, he was always so nice, friendly and loving to everyone. I will never forget him.... he will be greatly missed and always in my heart and prayers.

It was hard to watch you become more and more limited in your abilities to live your life to its fullest.  We prayed for you often and hoped you would regain that zest for life, but the Lord had other plans for you and now you are free from the bonds of pain and are doing the things you once did only on a much grander scale, I'm sure.  We love you and will always remember your presence in our home.

You were like a son to us.  I remember not too long ago, you had Ryan call us in the middle of the night before your last surgery and asked us to pray for you.  I want you to know that we did pray for you, everyday.  Your presence will be missed in our home.  I know you have been released from your pain and are able to hike and enjoy the kind of life you were always meant to. Wow, it always amazes me who God decides to take and who he leaves here in this place we call Earth.   Chad, you taught me everything I know and more about the LP world.  I remember being sent to your store and seeing you and Ryan walk towards me on my first day of training and thought, "Oh who are these punk kids", guess what they were my trainers! Lol! Chad, thanks for being there for me when I was having bad times. Giving me a roof over my head. Giving me a ear to listen. A shoulder to cry on and an older brother's advice. Helping me meet my wife 6 years ago and always being a great friend. When I moved to another state you always started the phone call "Hey we have not talked in a couple weeks but it feels like we were hanging out yesterday" and it truly was like that. Even if we did not talk for a month we started the conversation and ended like we were still living in the same house, no time lost. Memories with Fullmer: Bear Lake, trying to write music, hanging with friends and family almost everyday we had time off, we had coffee at Rick's, a good work out at Kearn's gym and on Sundays we went and had couple beers with Johnny Boy. Good times all around. By knowing Chad I have learned that everyday is a gift and everyone in my life is important. He taught me to love more, forgive easier, and to live life to the fullest. In Chad's words "Carpe Diem, Seize the Day". I will miss you more than you will ever know and I will cherish the time I had with you. Much love.
