CARPE.DIEM
Chad Rick Morley, born May 9, 1981 to Rick and Jodee Morley was called home to his loving Heavenly Father on February 20, 2010, after a valiant fight with the MRSA infection that invaded his legs and body in 2007. Chad attended Kearns High School, graduating in 1999. Chad loved to play the drums and had a appreciation of all kinds of music, and formed a band with his friends. His best and true friend, Ryan Beck, who was his “second brother” always supporting him in all that he did. Chad loved everyone and would always find the good even when he had been wronged. His love for his nieces and nephews, Jaxson and Allie, was his pride and joy. Chad will be deeply missed by all.
Chad is survived by his loving parents, Rick Morley, Jodee de la Cruz (Bob); his brother, Tyler (Kayelon); great grandmother, Genny Boyer; grandparents, Rod and Arlene Fulton, Harold and Helen Morley; aunts, Connie Wilcox (Richard), Krista Kroon and Rebecca Bement (Rory); and his cousins, Jenny and Angie Wilcox, Mercedes Lupinacci, Zack Coupe (Nancy), Oliver Coupe (Katie), Dakota Coupe (Amber) and Zeth Coupe; step-sisters, Melissa Pena (Hugo), Kara de la Cruz (Derek) and Jenna de la Cruz; step-brother, Jeremy de la Cruz and many other family members.
A special thanks to Dr’s. Charles Beck, Dr. Bob Townsley, Dr. Jeffrey Randle, Dr. David McCann and Susan Wise who tried with all possible means to give Chad the pain free life that he so desperately wanted.
