Claudia J. Weingand

1952-2013

Claudia June Jensen Weingand passed away on September 10, 2013 after a long illness. Finally released from the earthly pain and suffering that could have broken a lesser person. She was born on February 19, 1952 to June D. and Harry I. Jensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married the love of her life, Chris Weingand on October 6, 1989.

Claudia loved her Starbucks macchiato, scrapbooking with her sisters, cooking and getting together with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Chris; sons, Brian (Angela) Peterson, Kenneth (Rebecca) Peterson, Virginia Weingand, Michael Weingand; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sister JoAnn (Jim) Monroe; brothers, Alan (Patti) Jensen, Sherman (Bernice) Smith; daughter, Hidi Schuyler and dear friend, Sasha.

The family would like to thank Patrice, Rhonda and Lindsay from Rocky Mountain Health Care, for the care, kindness and love they have given Claudia this past year. The family would also like to thank the Hunter 36th Ward for all their special services and thoughtfulness they have given Claudia and Chris.

Graveside dedication will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 am at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. A celebration of her life will follow.
