

Our beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, partner and friend, Clayton Dustin Pace, 37, passed away on September 18, 2025, in Harrisville, Utah. He was born on July 2, 1988, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Monica Marie Martinez and Clayton F. Pace. Clayton attended Kearns High School.
Clayton had many hobbies. Some of his favorite hobbies were collecting various items from big to small. His #1 collected items were vacuums, VHS tapes, Chevron cars and Disney keychains. Clayton loved shopping at Savers and the D.I. Thrifting was one of his favorites. Clayton loved animals- Russell was his best bud and his 2 sidekicks were Mango and Kevin, his cats. Clayton was a people person. He was a bubbly go happy person. He had an infectious laugh and was always happy and complimenting others. If you were a friend of Clayton, you were considered family.
Clayton was a very loving person and always the constant caregiver. He was a proud uncle and loved his nieces and nephews. He adored his little brothers. He was a beautiful soul.
Clayton is survived by his partner, Robert Cartwright; parents, Clayton F. Pace (Komej) and Monica Martinez; siblings, Kayla, Gokey, Atran, Yukiko, Mcfarren and Sherman; grandfather, Johnny Diaz; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Reah Pace; grandfather, George Farren Pace, grandmother Darlene Pace and grandmother, Mary Diaz.
A memorial service for Clayton will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:00pm at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
