Donna Cloe Keith

Donna, beautiful wife and companion, passed away in her sleep at home in Taylorsville, Utah on Friday, August 25, 2017. She was born April 4th, 1923, in St. Anthony, Idaho to Mary Verlille Wight and Joseph Oliver Jorgensen. Donna was the ninth of ten siblings, all of them with a good sense of humor. She attended school in Idaho Falls, Idaho and left home early to be married.

Donna worked for a variety of companies in Salt Lake City: The Hotel Newhouse, Remington Arms, Sperry, United Airlines and even modeled hats for the Paris Company & Makoff. She later moved to California where she worked for Anderson Electric. Donna adopted her son, Joe, in New Mexico, who was the apple of her eye. When Joe enlisted in the Navy, she sold her condo and moved back to Utah.

Once back in Utah, Donna met and married C.F. ‘Con’ Keith in 1982. During that time, she was employed by the O.C. Tanner Company where she worked until her retirement. Donna and Con lived together in Taylorsville for 35 years and spent their free time travelling by motorcycle, travel trailer and car.

She is survived by her husband, Con; son, Joe (Ava); sister, Ruth Ross; brother, Perce; two stepdaughters, four granddaughters and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.
