“SKEET”
12/27/1963-2/4/2013
Skeet died on Monday, February4, 2013 at the U of U Hospital after having cardiac arrest. He was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and C.O.P.D and a whole list of other problems. He was a very, very ill man.
He was wise about a lot of different things. He was an eccentric and devoted man. Everything he took on had to be accomplished in a very prideful and timely manner and would treat and handle things as if they were his own. Skeet was a craftsman of many trades. He enjoyed working for Alonzo’s Refinishing and was very disappointed when he could no longer go into work. Skeet enjoyed spending time with family and friends in the canyons, fishing and 4-wheeling. He took great pride in his dogs and building his 4- wheel truck. His hair was one thing that showed his strength. He was a great athlete in his early youth playing all sports. Skeet is going to be greatly and dearly missed by his wife and best friend, Paula of 17 years, his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Paula McBride; daughter, Rose (Robert) Samora; step-children, Travis and Danielle Smith, Colton and Destiny McBride; 6 grandchildren, Zya Samora, Hadley Smith, Wyatt and Emma Gifford, and “His Girls” Samantha and Emmilley McBride; sisters, Beckie (Christopher) Romero Keli (Justin) Cammack; brother, Samuel McBride. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Elayne Larsen; parents, Elayne and Duane McBride.
The family will have a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 6-9 pm at the Northwest Recreation Center, 1300 West 300 North.
We love you Skeet, until we meet again we’ll be looking for you in the stars. Rest in Peace.
