Elva was born in Salt Lake City on May 12, 1940 to Vivian Bertoch and Fern Simmons Coon. She grew up in Magna with her brothers Don, Max and Dean. She married Myron Bridges and they have two sons David & Alan.Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Taylorsville 8th Ward 1495 West Tamarack Road (4630 South).
