Felipe A. Mendoza, age 79, died at his West Valley City, Utah, home on the evening of August 7, 2014 Surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with cancer. Born May of 1935, in Guatemala City C.A. to Francisco Mendoza and Mercedes Soto.
He lived in the United States for 35 years, he worked as a carpenter until retiring in 2007.
Survivors include his daughters; Blanca, Wendy,Blanca Rosa (Chiqui,) Flor, Eva and Monica.
Sisters Tina and Amelia of California, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Felipe was preceded in death by his wife Blanca Rosa de Mendoza, sister Lupe, parents and sons Oscar, Francisco and Victor.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday August 14th at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
