Fern A Cable

She was born May 30, 1922 to Stephen Albert Adams and Sarah Evans Adams in Vernal, Utah. She married E. Warren Cable November 29, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions. She spent three years beside her beloved husband serving a mission in Europe as he served as supervisor of new construction in Epsom, England and Frankfurt, Germany. This was a difficult thing for her as she missed her home and extended family.

She loved to quilt and garden, build floats for parades and give loving service to all. She would welcome the neighborhood children into her home and help them cook treats or sew projects.

She is survived by her children, Gregory and Linda Cable, Glen and Julie Cable, Dale and Stephanie Cable, Elizabeth and Bradford Harris, Barbara and Aaron Cox; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also their daughter from Scotland Doreen and Sheldon Lindsey. Preceded in death by her husband, two granddaughters, her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday October 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
