

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carma Gayle Harmer Dunn, who departed this life on May 25, 2026, at the age of 92.
Born on October 2, 1933, in Mink Creek, Idaho, Gayle lived a life filled with love, strength, kindness, and devotion to her family, especially her granddaughters. She touched the lives of many through her warm heart, and unwavering support of those she loved.
As a teenager, Gayle enjoyed ice skating and later found great joy in traveling to special places, including Mexico and a memorable trip to Australia. She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed playing both the ukulele and guitar.
Gayle is survived by her son, Robert Harmer; her granddaughters, Amanda Lee, Kristan Ehorn, and Jessica Torres; as well as her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Reginald J. Harmer, and her second husband, Blaine Dunn, who was also her high school classmate. She was also preceded in death by her son, Darren Harmer, her daughter, Alison Torres and great great granddaughter Blaike Lee.
To her family and friends, Gayle was someone who would never hesitate to step in and help in any way she could. She possessed a unique wisdom and offered guidance, comfort, and unconditional love to the grandchildren she helped raise. Her legacy will live on through the memories she created, the lessons she taught, and the love she shared so freely.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her life.
Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will remain with all those whose lives she touched. Her example of kindness, understanding, and unconditional love will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on June 5, 2026, at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84120.
