

Our beloved father passed away at 90 years old, on Friday afternoon November 29, 2024. He was born June 26,1934 in Salt Lake City UT to Vernon Christison and Thelma Robinson Christison. He grew up in Granger UT and graduated from Cyprus High School in 1952. Gerald married Earline Giles and had five children, they later divorced. Gerald married Rose Johnson in 1980. They lived in Magna with her two children.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Christison, his sister, Janice Dial, his Children, Carey (Bryce) Bradshaw, Kay (Tony) Ketterling, Craig (Angie) Christison, Ken (Carrie) Christison, a stepdaughter, Shaunna (Gary) Bee, 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren with 2 on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two siblings, Beverly Yocom and Paul Christison, a daughter Cindy (Steve) Phillips, a daughter in-law, AnnaLee Christison, and a stepson Kenny (Connie) Taylor.
He joined the Navy in 1953 during the Korean war. This is where he learned his trade as a master electrician which served him and his family and friends throughout his life. He really was a “jack of all trades.” He loved helping anyone that needed his expertise. He loved hunting and fishing with his sons, son-in-laws and his best friend, the late, Ned Franson and many relatives.

Services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park on Monday December 9, 2024. Viewing will be held at 11:00am. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment at Valley View Cemetery.
