Glenn Charles Johanson passed away April 15, 2013 at the age of 66 from pancreatic cancer.
He was born March 11, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to Ray N. and Alfreda Busby Johanson. Glenn lived his early years in Moab, and the family then moved to SLC. He graduated from Highland High.
Glenn served 4 years in the Air Force and was honorably discharged. In December 1970 he met Zona Tolman and 3 years later they married. They had a son, Matthew and a daughter, Jami. Glenn loved them with all his heart.
Glenn attended Snow College, Westminister College and SLCC. He worked for SL City Water Dept. as an electrician, retiring in 2010, after 34 years of service.
Glenn was best known for talking, telling corny jokes, making up and singing ditties, talking, reading, fishing with the Watts boys, hunting, and more talking. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother. Survived by his wife, Zona; children, Matthew and Jami (BJ Watts); his 96 year old father; his brother, Edvin (Carol), SLC; his sisters, Peggy Williams (Warren), Cedar City, and Diane Norlin, SLC, and many nieces, nephews, friends and the only cat he ever loved, Rocerante’.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
