On June 7th 2015 both Jamie Lynn Salazar age 34, and her son Jordan Charles Reeves, age 2 were suddenly and sadly called from this earthly life to go to their heavenly home. They are now in the loving care of God and past loved ones. All though their lives were shortened by an unexpected tragedy, they will forever be with us in our memories and our hearts. Not forgotten but living on through us. They will be greatly missed by all whose hearts they touched.
Jamie was born and raised in Salt Lake City, she graduated from Hunter High School. She was a caring, loving free spirited soul who lived life to the fullest. She was truly a beautiful person with a heart of gold. Jamie loved the outdoors, photography, artistry and her four children. They were her world and her best friends. She was the peace keeper, but could also be stubborn and hard headed while remaining calm. She had a uniqueness that can never be duplicated.
Sweet little Jordan didn't get the chance to live a full life, but his life was filled with love, goodness and as much adventure as Jamie could squeeze in. There are no words to soften the devastation of losing you, for just like your mother you were so very special.
For Sophie, Sienna and Jesse remember that there is some of your mother in all of you, hold on to the goodness and embrace all the positive things that she shared with you. Mostly remember she loved you all very much and will continue to love and protect you, it will just be in a different way. Love and embrace each other and don’t let anger overcome your lives.
They are survived by Jamie’s three children, Sophia, Sienna and son Jesse, her parents Tony and Sheryl Adams, her brother Anthony Adams, and her grandparents Henry and Jennie Adams. They will be lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by loving grandmother and great grandmother Betty Clark and beloved sister and aunt, Tina Marie Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah, on Tuesday, June 16th starting at 12:00 p.m. Friends and family may gather before services from 10:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park proceeding the service.
The family wishes to express special Thank You to the Victims Advocate Program, especially Julie. She has been a lifesaving angel in disguise with all her help and support. The family would also like to request that kindness and respect be given to all the victims that have suffered at the hands of PTSD due to the effects of the war.
