Jared Kenneth Schweibish, age 38, our beloved son, brother, father and friend passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2016 in his West Valley City home. He was born in Ogden, Utah, April 30, 1978 to Mary Adams and Kenneth Schweibish.
Jared was raised by his mother with his siblings, Casey and Laura in West Valley City, Utah. Jared never failed to love and appreciate his mother as a single mother, and learned to respect the sacrifices they make. His brother Casey was his first best buddy. They shared happy and idyllic times together as kids, and stayed tight to this day. His sister Laura enjoyed helping mom take care of Jared as a baby. Their bond remained tried and true throughout adulthood.
Jared never married but whole heartedly accepted three “stepchildren” into his life. He later bore three more of his own, Bradie Jane, Hannah and Jared Jr. “Titan”.
By trade, Jared was a skilled crane operator for 12 years. He worked on construction sites throughout the Western US playing his part in the growth of American industry. Jared was an avid sports fan. He excelled in baseball as a youth and enjoyed playing golf with his brother and friends. His favorite sports teams were the Tennessee Titans, Utah Utes, San Francisco Giants, Miami Heat and the Dallas Stars. Jared was a highly sociable, intelligent, entertaining, humorous, loyal, compassionate, sentimental man who wrote poetry, fell in love with Hawaii and had a special relationship with his Grandmother Ruth. Above all, Jared honored family and friends and strove to be the best father he could. He used his own limitations, life experiences and personal tragedies as fuel to instill strength and confidence in his children to peruse their goals. Despite the numerous challenges Jared faced in life, he took each one in stride and refused to let anything get in the way of his focus on his kids.
Jared is survived by his children, Bradie Jane, Jared Jr. “Titan”; stepchildren, Kamei and Sean, Mylove; granddaughter Aalyah; his mother Mary Adams; siblings, Casey and Laura as well as many more loving friends and family.
