John Raymond Bailey, Jr. 76, passed away on March 31, 2011 in Provo, Utah. He was born on September 25, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Raymond and Verda Angus Bailey.
John loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He worked for the Salt Lake Water Department for over 32 years. He was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karlyn; children: Kimberley (Mark) Newton, Jackie (Dan) Callahan, Brian (Tonee) Dunton, Denise (Stephen) Payton; step children, ShirlaDean (Anthony)Russo, Roger (Julie) Johnson, Glenn (Jamie) Nelsen; 21 grandchildren; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 of his siblings.
Graveside services for John will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State, Provo, Utah.
