Joyce Anderson Egan

Joyce Anderson Egan, 82 has gone to join her soul mate Don Egan on April 22,2023.

She was born August 18, 1940 to Beatrice Pickles Anderson and Alma A Anderson. She attended Granite High School, graduated in 1959. Joyce married her soulmate Donald E Egan on August 26, 1959.

Joyce worked many different jobs from being a locker room attendant at the U of U, TSA agent, and many retail jobs where she made many friends. She retired and moved in with her daughter Kim and son-in-law Gary after the passing of her husband Don.

She loved to read and spend time with her family. Listening to them laugh and playing games. She was a member of the Community of Christ church where she served as a Deacon.

She is survived by her children, Lynne Rae (Kevin) Bayless, Randy (Dennise) Egan, and Kim (Gary) Clements; Sister, Virginia (Randy) Nielsen; grandchildren, Brandon Bayless, Jesse Bayless, Steven Gunnerson, Keith (Laurie) Gunnerson, Alex Clements, Justin Clements, and three great grandchildren Gage, Jake, and Hunter.

Preceded in death by her Parents; Husband: Donald Egan; and Sister: Jean Haddenham

Services will be held on Friday, April 28th, at 2:30 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, with time after to visit with the family.
