Judy was born on July 28, 1946, to Edythe and Jesse Holmes in Salt Lake City, UT. She graduated from West High. She later married the love of her life, Ronald Lee, on July 28, 1966.
Our mom was a caregiver—her greatest joy was taking care of her family and friends. She would do anything for her husband and children, always making sure those around her felt loved and cared for. She had a special gift of that you knew you were loved especially when her home was filled with laughter and good times. Holidays were so meaningful to her; she made sure no one was alone, and our Thanksgiving table often had extra guests—something that brought her so much joy.
Devoted to her faith, Judy was a proud follower of God. She loved her Bible deeply—so much so that she read it six times over and knew the verses by heart. She was a strong prayer warrior, and she often said that even in heaven, she would still be praying. She had a heart of gold and anyone that was able to come into contact with her, knew it.
Judy is preceded in death by Ronald Lee - her beloved husband of 42 years and her parents Edythe and Jesse. She is survived by her two devoted daughters, Stormy Murray and Misty McGuire (Dajohn), her cherished grandson, Samuel Burak, and her loyal grand-pup, Georgia.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Noon at the Valley View Memorial Park Mausoleum, 4335 W 4100 S West Valley City, UT 84120
