Julie Anderson

1962~2011

Julie Schafer Anderson, 49, passed away on October 23, 2011 in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on January 17, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur and Marilyn Schafer. She graduated from Cottonwood High School. She later married Ed Rich (divorced), Vern Peterson (divorced), Paul Kanehara (deceased) then married Carl Anderson on August 29, 2009.

Julie had a passion for fashion and all things girly, which lead her to continue her education in cosmetology. She enjoyed golfing with her husband and camping with family. Her greatest accomplishment was her children who she was very proud of. She looked forward to spending the weekends with her grandson, Angel. He was her pride and joy. Julie was a very accepting, caring and loving mother, wife and friend. She will be missed.

Julie is survived by her husband, Carl Anderson; children, Nicole, Sarah, Teresa (Nick); stepson, Dustin; siblings, Carlene (Gil) Petersen, Diane (Todd) Decker; two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Paul Kanehara.

Funeral service for Julie will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at Calvary Chapel, 460 West Century Drive in Salt Lake City. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Valley View Funeral Home 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, and again at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
