her sleep. She was predeceased by her parents Russell Wion and Ruth Agnes Moulton Craft,
siblings Pauline, Roy, and Robert Lee, and grandchildren Sariah June and Cameron.
She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kay married
her husband, Fredrick E Baney on September 26, 1966, later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple
a year later in 1967. Together they had four children, Robin Kae (Richard), Fredrick Ervin Jr.
(Jessica), Shalto Rae, and Douglas Wion (Nancy). Kay was also survived by 16 grandchildren, and
13 great-grandchildren, every which one she adored.
Throughout her life Kay was a devout LDS member serving in many different areas
during her time. She served as a Relief Society Secretary, Ward Librarian, and Primary Class
Teacher. Each position she held was dear to her heart as she served her church.
Kay asked to be cremated as per her wishes, so there would be no viewing. To honor
Kay’s memory, we will be holding a celebration of life in her honor. The celebration will be held
at a later time, sometime in the upcoming summer. We do ask attendees to wear bright colors
to honor her when the time comes.
