Larry Alvin Erickson

He was born in Afton, Wyoming to Alvin and Kathleen Erickson. He was the oldest of ten children. Larry graduated from Star Valley High School in 1958. He met and married the love of his life in Fillmore, Utah on July 30, 1960. They later were married and sealed in the St. George Temple on July 8, 2005.

Larry worked in the power line industry for 53 years. He started at Jelco then Tri-O Inc. for 26 years, ending his career at EC Source in 2013.

He never went anywhere without his wife LaRue. Together they enjoyed being with family, hunting, fishing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife LaRue, daughter’s, Kerri (Brian) Henrie, Janiece (Russ) Sterzer, Connie Erickson, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Alvin and Kathleen Erickson of Freedom, Wyoming.

The family would like to thank Quality Hospice, Chelsea, Alexis, Russ, Becky and Dr. Jane MacPherson for their loving care they gave to our husband and dad.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 12:00 at the Valley View Funeral Home with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
