She was born February 12, 1939, in Taos, New Mexico, to Antonio and Anita Archuleta. Maria married Charley Leroy Rael, widowed in 1975, she later married Gordon Baxter in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a loving woman with a big heart that gave endlessly; she found joy in the little things, such as good conversation and a cup of coffee.
Maria is survived by her children, Loretta Rael, Pastor Charley (Florence) Rael, Sadie (Bill) Young, Tony (Shirley) Rael and Glen Rael; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.
Funeral Services will be held at Mount Zion Tabernacle, 1511 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, El Prado, New Mexico, Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
